An official correspondent No.1282/QLCL-CL1
In this document, NAFIQAD asked Pangasius exporters to Greece to adjust their quality control measures against Listeria monocytogenes during all stages of Pangasius processing in accordance with HACCP instructions. Ensuring sanitary conditions in factories before, during and after processing, and taking more samples of input materials and semi-products to test for Listeria monocytogenes were two necessary measures which were emphasized by the Department. In addition, the exporters should be more active in testing samples for Listeria monocytogenes in frozen Pangasius fillet shipments to Greece. So far, five shipments of frozen Pangasius fillets to Greece have been found infected by Listeria monocytogenes.
