Stable Pangasius exports to ASEAN countries
(vasep.com.vn) In 2014, exports to this market reached US$ 136.57 million, up 9.4% year on year.
According to the Vietnam General Customs, pangasius exports to ASEAN countries in Q.IV/2014 valued US$ 33.88 million, up 1.3% year on year.
Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines witnessed positive growth in pangasius imports. Thailand is the biggest importer for Vietnam pangasius among ASEAN nations with the value of US$ 43.56 million, up 27.3% compared to 2013. These three markets mostly imported pangasius from Vietnam and some catfish from some other countries.
