SSI purchasing Hung Vuong Corp’s shares
Saigon Securities Incorporation (SSI) has become the biggest stakeholder
of Hung Vuong Corp (HOSE code - HVG) by possessing an amount of shares
equal to 20 percent of the company’s charter capital. Hung Vuong Corp also
becomes SSI associated company, according to Duong Ngoc Minh, Chairman
of Hung Vuong Corp.
Currently, Duong Ngoc Minh hold 22.5 million shares, equal to 35 percent, followed by SSI and its affiliate company - SSI Asset Management (SSIAM) with 20 percent. Others shares belong to local and foreign organizations and individuals.
Pangasius was key exported products of Hung Vuong Corp. In first ten months of 2011, the company has reached US$106.63 million of export revenue. Its fish and shrimp farming areas have increased to 1,700 hectares. In
2012, Hung Vuong Corp plans to provide the local market more than 1 billion post shrimp from its plant in Ninh Thuan province.
