South Vina said, by the end of 2010 the company exported 15,500 MT of frozen pangasius, worth US$35.5 million. This year, the company maintained its relatively stable export to the U.S., Canada, Mexico, etc.
In the first 2 months of 2010, South Vina only exported over 500 MT of pangasius to the U.S, Colombia, Canada, Germany, while in January 2011 alone, its pangasius export reached more than 1,500 MT, up 3 times compared to two first months of 2010.
In 2010, South Vina ranked the ninth in the top pangasius exporters of Vietnam, based on the statistics of Vietnam Customs.
