Post-tax earnings above set target

General Director of Aquatex Ben Tre (code ABT), Mr. Dang Kiet Tuong, said the company’s post-tax earnings in the first six months of the year contributed as high as 68 percent to the yearly plan.In the second quarter of 2009, it earned VND126 billion and pre-tax earnings reached VND17.3 billion.

In comparison with the first quarter, ABT’s revenue in the second quarter of 2009 was up 8.69 percent, while post-tax earnings climbed 69.3 percent. Its accumulative revenue in the first six months reached VND242.2 billion, an increase of 0.89 percent compared with the same period last year, fulfilling 60.55 percent of the yearly plan. The company’s post-tax in this period netted VND24.4 billion, up 8 percent over the same period last year.
