However, in some provinces in Mekong Delta, pangasius rearing area and production still increased. In particular, rearing area in Vinh Long was 440 hectares, up 4% with production of nearly 14,000 MT, up 2%.
In Can Tho, pangasius was farmed in approximately 500 hectares (up 3.7%), yielding nearly 12,500 MT, reporting an increase of 65%.
