Ntaco Corp: First Pangasius company granted Global G.A.P certificate

 The GlobalG.A.P certificate was granted by the Dutch Control Union Certificates to Ntaco’s 30-ha farm in My Thoi ward, Long Xuyen city, the Mekong Delta province of An Giang.

With this certificate, the value of Ntaco’s products is expected to increase by more than 15 percent, and the company will have more opportunities to penetrate into strictly controlled markets.

So, together with the organic Pangasius farming area certified by IMO Group (Institute for Marketelogy) under Switzerland’s Naturland system, the only organic Pangasius processing plant in Viet Nam, and an organic aqua-feed mill, fish oil and fish meal plants, PE, PP and carton package plant, the GlobalG.A.P-certified 30ha farming area enables Ntaco Corp to increase further its earnings.

In Q1 this year, Ntaco’s export value reached US$3.7 million, up 70 percent year on year. At present, the company’s Pangasius products are sold to more than 40 markets worldwide.
