No toxics detected in Viet Nam Pangasius

According to the UAE’s Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority’s (ADFCA) analysis result, no cancer-causing or toxic chemicals have been detected in Pangasius (tra, basa) imported from Viet Nam. ADFCA also confirmed that Viet Nam Pangasius is safe food. UAE businesses are advised to resume importing Pangasius from Viet Nam. Despite that, the UAE has warned about their close observation on the consumption of Viet Nam Pangasius. They have also required a certification saying that products are Malachite Green-free attached each shipment. (Vietfish News)
