New strain of tilapia for production to export
(vasep.com.vn) So far this year, Ho Chi Minh Center of freshwater fish seeds, under Sai Gon Agriculture Incorporation, has provided 10 million of tilapia seeds for farming to export.
This is a new strain of tilapia, which has high yield and good quality. Tilapia seeds are farmed within 5 – 8 months to reach the foodsize of 500 – 800 grammes per piece. Raw fishes will be used in processing fish fillets to export to the EU market.
