New decree creates hardship for pangasius exporters
(vasep.com.vn) According to VASEP, a newly released decree on pangasius export management will create more hardships to pangasius exporters because they must register their export contracts and audit costs with the Vietnam Pangasius Association (VPA).
The new decree may violate the private business principles. Exporters will pay more fees in the current situation of many other increased costs.
In this context, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development sent an official letter to Ministry of Finance, VPA on asking for a delay of the implementation of the decree. Accordingly, exporters temporarily not must follow new requirements in the decree.
The implementation of the decree will be applied after MARD's the guidance circular on implementation of the new decree took effect.
