Mekongfish Co (coded AAM) has announced its business report in 2009. Accordingly, in 2009, Mekongfish Co earned VND541.6 billion in revenue, up 33.73 percent compared with year’s plan, and up 135.9 percent over 2008; pre-tax profits of VND62.08 billion, up 67.78 percent (VND37 billion) over year’s plan, 20 folds higher than 2008 (VND3.2 billion).
In Q4/2009 alone, the company gained before-tax profits of VND15.68 billion, a decrease of nearly VND500 million compared with Q3. That compared with losses of VND14.7 billion in Q4/2008.
The company’s Board of Directors decided to pay third dividend 2009 in cash at the ratio of 15 percent/par value.
In December 2009, Mekongfish issued bonus shares at 30 percent, and advanced dividend at 10 percent.
