MEKONGFISH CO completed 88 percent of yearly business plan

In Q.II/2011, MEKONGFISH CO earned more than VND6.4 billion from financial activities, down slightly over Q.II/2010. Its sale expenses were down 38 percent while administration expenses up 54 percent from a year ago. In Q.II/2011, the company’s profit was VND19.2 billion, up 22 percent compared with the same quarter last year. In the first half of 2011, MEKONGFISH CO reached VND318.1 billion of accumulative turnover, up 32 percent; VND58.9 billion of gross profit; VND16.8 billion of profit from financial activities, up 46 percent; and VND35 billion of post-tax profit, up 25 percent. In the first six months, the company has completed 58 percent of the yearly business plan in terms of revenue and 88 percent in terms of profit.
