(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Reaching out to new markets has always been prioritized in the development strategy of International Development & Investment Corporation (IDI).

Up to now, IDI has dozens of partners from Asia, the Middle East, the U.S and some South American countries. In 2016, IDI's sales hit VND4,000 billion and put in top largest seafood export enterprises in Vietnam.

In addition to keeping main markets such as the EU, South America, the U.S, South Korea and China, IDI has continually promoted new potential markets such as Russia, Middle East, Eastern Europe, Central America, Africa, Canada, ASEAN and India. Besides, IDI also attaches importance to the chain of production and commits to providing the best products to local customers.

In order to ensure its supply, IDI continues to develop raw fish farming areas and consolidate integrated farming areas. With self-control of over 80% of raw materials, IDI will significantly reduce the cost of sales and minimize the risk of material shortages. IDI strengthens marketing, promoting its premium products such as fish fillets. Besides, it provides other products which meet the needs of domestic and foreign consumers such as breaded fish fillets, smoked fish fillets, fish portions, fish skewers and fish rolls. These products will be sold in large supermarkets in the world and all are processed according to the standards of ASC, VietGAP, GlobalGAP, BAP. In 2017, IDI plans to grow by about 20% compared to 2016 in its sales.

According to Mr. Le Van Chung, CEO of IDI, the company is urgently completing Sao Mai aqua-feed processing plant with the capacity of 360,000 MT/year to provide the best quality products for farming. At the same time, the company is carrying out the project to set up a Pangasius Seed Research Center.
