Vietnam’s leading pangasius fish exporter Hung Vuong Group (HVG) said it made a consolidated net profit of VND233.64 billion ($11.02 million) in the first half of this year, rising by 27.5% from the same period last year.
Revenue surged by 43.7% on year to VND5.13 trillion during the period, HVG said in its consolidated quarterly financial report.
The six-month earnings per share was VND2,950, versus VND2,780 in H1/2012.
In Q2, HVG earned a net profit of VND128.19 billion on revenue of VND2.65 trillion, up 107.52% and 50.77% on year, respectively.
Its total assets increased by 27.46% from end-2012 to VND8.15 trillion while its equity was VND2.34 trillion at end-June.
