On November 15, 2006, Hung Vuong Co., Ltd put into operation its 1,000 MT cold storage which is located in Tan Tao Industrial Park, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City.
With total investment capital of VND 80 billion (US$ 5 million), the cold storage is installed and equipped with modern equipment imported from Europe and Japan, the temperature inside is automatically adjusted from +50C to minus 220C.
Just after putting into operation, seafood companies located in Ho Chi Minh City and other Mekong Delta provinces have rented 90 per cent of area of the storage.
Hung Vuong Co., Ltd owns three processing plants which specialize in processing Pangasius for export to Europe, America, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
In the first ten months, Hung Vuong’s seafood export turnover reached US$ 50 million.
