Hung Ca to build integrated chain from farming to export
(VASEPNews) Established officially in 2006, Hung Ca Co., Ltd was one of the first companies that have well applied the integrated chain from farming to export. As the result, Dong Thap-based firm can ensure its business during the time of unstable raw material supply.
In 2012, with 52 hectares of fish farming in Tam Nong district (Dong Thap province), Hung Ca has expanded its farming areas of pangasius and scampi shrimp to 400 hectares and became one of the companies having the largest fish farming areas in Mekong Delta.
In early February 2012, the firm started to build new aquacultural feed processing plant with designed capacity of 800 MT of products per day and a processing plant for fishmeal and fish oil applying European technologies to produce 300 MT per day.
The plants are expected to operate officially in late 2012 to provide 290,000 MT of feed to Hung Ca and other fish farms in Mekong Delta.
Hung Ca earned VND2,036 billion of turnover in 2011.
