Godaco displayed their products at the Seafood Expo Global 2014 in Brussels (Belgium), which is one of the most important seafood shows in the world fishery industry. This year, the company introduced many products derived from pangasius to international visitors to the show. These products were highly appreciated. Quality improvement and the company's credibility are now priorities of the Tien Giang-based firm.
Godaco also had meetings with traditional partners and find more potential buyers at the seafood show. It has signed many supply contracts this year.
According to Nguyen Van Dao, General Director of Godaco, EU market for pangasius has been better so far. Vietnamese pangasius exporters may increase the selling price of their products, as domestic supply of raw material is short.
