According to Le Van Hoang - Director of Gepimex 404, over the past period of time, the company’s pangasius fillets export to the new market Angieri has been still favourable. In May, 2010 alone, Gepimex 404 exported directly 115.2 tonnes of Pangasius for USD 325,000 to this market.
According to the report, in the first six months of this year, the company had direct export of more than 1,800 tons of seafood, valued at 2.75 million USD to 4 main markets: South Korea, Hong Kong, Angieri and Mexico, in which more than 1,500 tons of surimi to South Korea and more than 300 tons of pangasius fillet to the rest markets.
For only June, 2010, Gepimex 404 exported 216 tons of surimi and 72 tons of frozen pangasius.
At the same time, the company authorized exporting 135 tons of pangasius to Hong Kong, Ukraine, and 48.5 tons of surimi to China and South Korea.
