Final results of antidumping duty POR7 on pangasius
(VASEPNews) In March 9th 2012, Department of Commerce published the final result of seventh administrative review of the antidumping duty order on Vietnam frozen fish fillets imported into the U.S in the period of 1st August 2009 to 31st July 2010. In POR7, DOC selected Bangladesh as a surrogate country to calculate weighted average dumping margin.
The rate calculated for Vinh Hoan Corp in the review is zero. The final resulfs of POR7, POR6 and POR5 with zero margin, Vinh Hoan Corp will be the first seafood company in Vietnam to get out of antidumping duty.
The rate established for Separate rate companies is per-unit rate of US$ 0.03 per kilogram and the Vietnam wide rate is US$ 2.11 per kilogram.
In the preliminary result of POR7 on 9th September 2011, DOC selected Indonesia and Bangladesh as surrogate countries, the rate awarded to these companies was US$ 0.56 per kilogram, except Vinh Hoan Corp with zero margin.
