According to Southern Fishery Industries Company Ltd (SouthVina), one of the rapidly growing pangasius producers in MeKong River Delta, Egypt is a potential importer of Vietnam’s pangasius (tra,basa). In the first six month of this year, the company exported 600 MT of tra, basa to Egypt, valued at $ 1.22 million.
Until the end of June, the company exported over 4,400 MT of tra, basa to international markets such as Russia, Egypt, Poland, and Germany... .In which, Russia is the biggest import market of the company.
The company was established in 2005 but in 2008, the company is in the top 20 pangasius exporters and processors of Vietnam.
