(vasep.com.vn) The People's Committee of Dong Thap province has issued the Decision No. 1129/QĐ-UBND-HC on approving project on investing in infrastructure and technique for aquaculture during the 2012 – 2015 period in the orientation to 2020.
Total investment fund of the project is VND1,662 billion including VND1,425 billion for building farming ponds, VND207.57 billion for building infrastructure of farming areas.
The investment fund is spent on developing infrastructure for 1,576 hectares of pangasius farming; 2,950 hectares of giant freshwater prawn rearing and 750 hectares of seed producing.
Key farming areas in Dong Thap will be allocated based on the province’s plan for developing aquaculture by 2020.
