Dathaco: Pangasius sales up nearly 20 percent

EU is the leading importer of the company’s pangasius, accounting for 60 percent of its total export turnover. So far, pangasius export price to the market has been higher than that of the same period of last year.  

The company is also breeding pangasius to meet its raw fish demand for its processing plants. However, the fish farming area owned by the company can satisfy only 60 percent of its demand. It still purchases raw fish from other sources to ensure enough raw materials for processing.
