CL-Fish recorded a rise in post-tax profit

The raw fish price offered by local suppliers was up 67 percent from a year ago, but the cost of its owned farmed fish was at VND18,000 per kilogram. In addition, CL-Fish got higher net profit in the second quarter of 2011 because it increased the export price by 33 percent from Q.II/2010.

According to Vietnam Customs, in the first half of 2011, CL-Fish ranked the 8th among the largest pangasius exporters of Vietnam, with 8,855 MT of finished products, worth US$21.15 million.
