According to Mr. Luu Bach Thao, General Director of Anvifish Co., the company can ensure a stable supply of raw Pangasius for its export processing activities thanks to 200ha of Pangasius farming.
So far, Anvifish has tightened the link with prestigious Pangasius hatcheries to have high quality seed, minimizing the fish mortality rate from stocking until harvest to only 5 percent. He also cited the ratio of loss in other provinces in the Mekong Delta ranges from 25 to 30 percent.
Thanks to well managed farming process, ensuring compliance with the technical process, rational use of feed and veterinary medicine, Anvifish has lowered cost of raw Pangasius, and increased earnings.
From the beginning of the year to mid of October, Anvifish Co shipped 18,868MT of Pangasius, worth US$44.245 million, ranking fourth in the list of Viet Nam’s leading Pangasius exporters, just after Hung Vuong Corp., Vinh Hoan Corp. and Navico.
