In 2005, the southern province of An Giang has 1,836 ha of Pangasius farming ponds and 3,058 farming cages, producing 180,809 MT raw fish, accouting for 60% of total farmed Pangasius production of Mekong Delta.
The finished products of Pangasius reached 54,982 MT and export value was more than US$ 122 million.
