The Board also approved the production and business plan for 2010, which sets the target to gain VND1,500 billion in revenue, export 35,000MT of seafood, worth US$60 million, and pre-tax profit of VND80 billion, up 53.85 percent over 2009. At the same time, it decided to sell Agifish’s shares in Delta Agifish JSC to mobilize capital for business and production, to pay 2009 advance dividend in cash at the ratio of 10 percent/par value
Mr. Nguyen Van Ky has been appointed to be General Director as of 1 Jan 2010 replacing Mr. Ngo Phuoc Hau who continues being President.
According to the statistics of Vietnam Customs, in the 11 eleven months of 2009, Agifish exported 21,099MT of seafood for a value of nearly US$50.816 million, including 20,815MT of Pangasius, worth more than US$49.798 million.
