Agifish: Raw fish self-sufficiency made Q3/2014 profit rose
(vasep.com.vn) According to An Giang Fisheries Import Export Joint Stock Company (Agifish - code: AGF) in Q3/ 2014, the company generated VND 678 billion in net sales, down 19% year on year with net profit of VND 23.5 billion, increased 168% yoy.
From January to September, Agifish earned VND 2,131 billion (net sales), pretax profit of VND 93 billion.
According to Agifish, profit rose sharply in Q3 thanks to using raw fish farmed by the company. Average cost of raw material was lower comparing to market prices. Corporate tax in 2014 also decreased to 22% from the level of 25% in 2013.
