(vasep.com.vn)In 2014, An Giang Fisheries Import and Export Joint Stock Company (Agifish – HOSE code: AGF) plans to produce 33,000 MT of pangasius products; 2,500 MT of which will be value-added products.
With this production, the company expects to generate US$110 million of exports while spending US$10 million on imported sources. Its total turnover will be VND3,300 billion and post-tax profit VND120 billion.
This year, Agifish is providing jobs to 3,100 workers with a average salary of VND4.5 million per person. Agifish’s Administration Council has approved the plan on seeking more partners to sell its shares in the American M&T Seafood’s Corp in the coming time.
Through September 2013, Agifish totaled VND2,348 billion of turnover, up 9 percent year-on-year, completing 78 percent of its yearly plan. Post-tax profit was VND34.2 billion, equal to 40 percent of the yearly plan.
