Fukushima Prefecture’s fisheries organization has launched a website as part of efforts to publicise information about the radiation-related safety of fish caught in nearby waters.

In the late February 2014, many offshore fishing vessels owned by fishermen in Da Nang city and central provinces landed Tho Quang water transport based in Da Nang city after their fishing trip started in the early year.

According to Sub-Department of Capture Fisheries and Resources Protection Binh Dinh, local fishermen have recently invested in building and upgrading vessels for offshore catching with an aim to increase landings and to earn larger profit.

The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMFA), will continue to increase exports of fish products and boost commercial fishing in an effort to expand the fishery industry at home.
