Halong Simexco’s US$1.7 million of fish cakes exports
(vasep.com.vn) In August 2013, HaLong Service and Import Export Joint Stock Company (Halong Simexco) earned US$351 thousand from seafood exports to Japan. In which, fish cakes valued at US$271.6 thousand and frozen octopus products US$79.9 thousand.
Through August, the company sold fish cakes and frozen octopus abroad for value of US$1.7 million and US$341.3 thousand, respectively. Seafood exports are expected to generate US$250 thousand in September.
In the first eight months, Halong Simexco bought raw material from Japan and China for processing and export, valued at US$171.4 thousand.
