ABT expects 2017 dividend rate to touch 40-50%
(seafood.vasep.com.vn) According to the annual shareholders' meeting of Aquatex Bentre (ABT) in 2017, the Board of Directors of ABT will submit to the shareholders about the plan reaching 8,000 tons of finished products, estimated turnover of VND500 billion, up 18.4% over 2016; before tax profit of VND60 billion, up 11.1% compared to 2016 and expected dividend rate of 40-50%.
In 2016, ABT paid a total dividend of 45% in cash with the equivalent of over VND51 billion.
ABT's Board of Directors said that in 2016, the exports to European market decreased and the stronger competition of other enterprises impact on the business results of the company.
Specifically, ABT's revenue in 2016 reached VND422 billion, down 10.9% year on year and fulfilling 84.4% of the yearly plan. Before tax profit was VND54.4 billion, down 30.3% compared to that of 2015 and fulfilled 90.2% of the set target.
