STEERING COMMITTEE OF VASEP PROGRAM OF COMBATING IUU FISHING
(seafood.vasep.com.vn) On September 25th, 2017, at the conference "Vietnam marine product companies commit to combating IUU" held by VASEP, marine product enterprises agree to establish the Steering Committee of fisheries enterprises on combating IUU under VASEP. The Steering Committee includes 10 leaders from 10 marine product enterprises.
The Steering Committee and IUU Task Force of VASEP will closely cooperate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, The Directorate of Fisheries and state agencies to address short-term and long-term issues in the program on combating IUU fishing.
