MEETING BETWEEN VASEP’S IUU STEERING COMMITTEE WITH EXPERTS FROM US. NOAA
(seafood.vasep.com.vn) On 11th October 2017, at VASEP office in Ho Chi Minh city, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Sac, Vice Chairman of VASEP, Chairman of VASEP marine product Committee (VMPC), Chair of VASEP’s IUU Steering Committee VASEP General Secretary Truong Dinh Hoe and all members of the IUU Committee hold a meeting with the experts from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Sac chaired the meeting. She and the members of VASEP’s IUU Steering Committee discussed and shared information on VASEP action compaign against IUU fishing, showing high determination of Vietnam marine product enterprises in compliance with IUU regulations and combating IUU fishing. For sustainable development of Vietnam fisheries and prestige of Vietnam exported seafood products, the Vietnam marine product companies are closely coorperate with competent authorities and fishermen community in national action program of combating IUU fishing.
