News 09:00 24/08/2022
The annual Vietfish Seafood Expo hosted by VASEP is going to take place from August 24th -26th, 2022 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) – 799 Nguyen Van Linh street, District 7, HCM City!

The rapid recovery of import markets in the post-pandemic era along with fluctuations in the supply of Russian whitefish has paved the way for Vietnam's seafood industry to accelerate recovery and gain many advantages in the first quarters of 2022. In order to increase competitive advantage and promote the favorable conditions achieved in the past period, the biggest challenge for Vietnam’s seafood industry is to establish a new balance system: balance between supply capacity and consumption demand in key markets; balance between quantity and quality in accordance with the increasingly strict standards in the world market; balance between production cost and actual profit to ensure the minimum profit margin for the entire chain; balance between productivity, efficiency, and ecological limits to ensure industry-wide sustainability, especially when climate change and environmental issues are and will cause great challenges for the seafood industry of Vietnam.

In order to actualize those goals, it is required to have the cooperation of the whole industry and the whole value chain for Vietnam to deserve its place as one of the top 3 leading seafood suppliers for the world market.

This is also the main goal of this year's Vietfish exhibition. With the theme “Quality connection destination”, VietFish is back after two years of hiatus due to Covid, bringing a professional global-scale playground for Managers - Suppliers - Retailers - Professionals - Manufacturers, processors and Exporters of seafood products to meet up, exchange information, introduce new products, and technologies as well as impulse the cooperation in seafood producing and exporting.

After 24 years of organization with the principle "Asia’s home of seafood", VietFish has always been learning from past experience, investing in improving quality and service so that next year's event can be held on a larger scale, converging more exhibition fields, promoting cooperation opportunities and bringing more value.

Attendees can directly experience models, technologies and directly evaluate the seafood quality through fresh or processed products at the stall.

Vietnamese consumers will have the opportunity to learn and enjoy the Vietnamese wholly-obtained products that meet the highest standards of food safety, supplying to 165 countries around the world.
