By the end of May 2022, Vietnam's shrimp exports brought in $1.9 billion, up 41% over the same period last year. Shrimp exports in May emerged an conspicuous point that was the slow down in growth rate of shrimp exports to the US market while exports to the Chinese market increased. The growth momentum of Vietnam's shrimp exports to the US in May slowed down to nearly 3% over the same period last year, reaching 99 million USD. Vietnam's shrimp exports to the US in May slowed down after recording a growth of 52% in April.
