VASEP Highlight - Apr. 2024: Tuna

In March 2024, Vietnam's tuna exports increased by 17%, reaching nearly 84 million USD. Accumulated in the first 3 months of 2024, Vietnam's tuna exports reached 215 million USD, up 19% over the same period in 2023 but 17% lower than in 2022. With this speed and the difficulties that the tuna industry is facing, it is expected that this year's tuna exports will not reach the "billion dollar" mark like in 2022.
