[Video] US continues imposing anti-subsidy tax on Vietnamese shrimp

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) ruled on the final decision on regarding to frozen shrimp exported to the US by Vietnam. The DOC confirmed that Vietnamese shrimp producers and processors have received subsidies from the government and the subsidy taxes will continue to be imposed however the taxes announced have changed from last May. According to the DOC's final decision, Minh Qui company will face a rate of 7.88 percent while products from Nha Trang Seaproduct Co. will be charged 1.15 percent... the ruling is felt unfair and affect the lives of over 600,000 shrimp farmers in Vietnam.
