(seafood.vasep.com) On the afternoon of August 1st, 2025, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Hanoi, the Import-Export Department solemnly organized the event “Vietnam Import-Export: Recognition – Announcement – Connection – Cooperation” to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of the business community to export activities in 2023, while also setting directions for the next phase of development amid extensive international integration.
The program was attended by Nguyen Hong Dien, member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Industry and Trade; Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade; leaders of various units under the Ministry such as the Import-Export Department, the Chemical Agency, the Trade Remedies Department, the European-American Market Department, among others; as well as representatives of industry associations, leading import-export enterprises nationwide and central and industry-specific media agencies.
During the ceremony, 33 enterprises with outstanding achievements in export activities in 2023 were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Industry and Trade. Among them, 05 seafood enterprises proudly received the Minister’s Certificate of Merit, including:

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien and Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan personally presented the Certificates of Merit to the honored enterprises, reflecting the Ministry leaders’ deep recognition of their persistent, creative and effective efforts throughout a year of many fluctuations.
Within the framework of the event, the Ministry of Industry and Trade also announced the 2024 Export Report, introduced the new website and logo of the Import-Export Department; and held a signing ceremony for media cooperation between the Department, the Industry and Trade Newspaper and the Industry and Trade Magazine. These activities are expected to enhance connectivity, promote transparency of information and support the business community in improving competitiveness in the new development phase.
