(vasep.com.vn) According to statistics from the International Trade Centre (ITC), Portugal is the 6th largest tuna importer in the EU. In 2023, the country's tuna imports from other countries increased by 9% compared to 2022, reaching nearly 241 million USD.

(vasep.com.vn) In the first two months of 2024, Poland—which ranks as Vietnam's fourth-largest EU supplier of tuna—became a noteworthy market. Vietnam's tuna exports value to Poland increased by 786% in comparison to the same period last year, totaling over $2 million USD and contributing about 2% of the country's overall tuna exports revenue.

(vasep.com.vn) Vietnam seafood exports have reached 6.6 billion USD in the first nine months of this year, a 22.6% decrease from the same period the previous year. Exports fell significantly (by 27%) in the first half of the year, but starting in June, the negative growth trend began to narrow. Particularly in September 2023, export sales were just 5% lower than the same period last year.

(vasep.com.vn) In October 2020, Vietnam's exports of cephalopod rose by nearly 16% to 58.6 million USD. In the first 10 months of this year, cephalopod exports reached US$454.9 million, down 5% over the same period in 2019. It is estimated that the exports of Vietnamese cephalopod in 2020 will reach about US$566 million, down about 2% compared to 2019.
