Vietnam fish imports between January and July 2013
(vasep.com.vn) In the first seven months of 2013, Vietnam imported US$348.8 million of fish products, downed 11.5 percent over the last year. In which, India was the leading supplier with total value of US$49.3 million, accounting for 14.2 percent. Vietnam mainly bought raw black tiger shrimp from India to process and export.
Taiwan ranked second among Vietnam’s seafood suppliers with US$40 million of value and 11.4 percent of proportion. Taiwanese exporters shipped to Vietnam tuna and other marine fish products mostly.
