Pangasius imported into the US
The average price of fillets –basa and panga- imported in April was USD 3,167/t, down 1% on that of March and 14% on that of April 2012. During the first four months of the year the average was USD 3,217/t, down 14% on that of the same period last year.

In April, incoming volumes of frozen fillets of basa and panga reported 7,387 tonnes, worth USD 23,393,000 CIF, up 9% in volume and 8% in value on those imported in the previous month and down 9% in volume and 22% in value on those imported in April 2012.
During the first four months of the year, exports reached 27,658 tonnes and USD 88,963,000, down 11% in volume and 24% in value on those of the same period in 2012.
