Low duties of 0.13% to 2.51% assigned to Indian shrimp in latest review
(seafood.com) Indian shrimp exporters have won a minimal duty rate in the latest administrative review of anti-dumping duties.
Falcon Seafoods is assigned a duty rate of 0.13%; and Apex is assigned a rate of 2.51%. The 2.51% rate applies to all other exporters making shipments in the review period as well. This review covered from Feb 2010 to Jan. 2011.
Both the American Shrimp Processors Association and the Southern Shrimp Alliance fought the low duties, but lost. The final determination was virtually unchanged from the preliminary determination.
