JICA supports for Vietnam tuna projects
(vasep.com.vn) On 26.6, Binh Dinh Province People's Committee had a meeting with the delegation of Japan – Vietnam Friendship Association in Sakai city on the implementation of projects on tuna purchasing and exporting tuna which supported by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
At the meeting, the Japanese side agreed to transfer 25 sets of machines, equipment for ocean tuna fishers in Binh Dinh in September 2015. At the same time, the Japanese experts will travel to Vietnam to make training courses and technical transfer of tuna catching, processing, preservation, assessment of product quality tuna to fishermen and state officials in Binh Dinh. Tuna products are expected to export to Japan in January 2016.
