(vasep.com.vn) Binh Dinh provincial leaders worked with Hokugan (Japanese company) to discuss on cannery project.
On the morning of 31 October 2014, Mr. Le Huu Loc Chairman of Binh Dinh, worked with company representatives from Hokugan (Okinawa, Japan) to discuss to build a processing plant for seafood and tuna in Binh Dinh.
"Catching and preserving fresh tuna with Japanese standards to export to Japan is the program we are determined to pursue. However, it is also to construct a processor because each year, 200,000 MT fish is yielded and tuna is about 10,000 MT. Seafood processing plants and Japanese tuna cannery can be located near De Gi fishing port, covering the area of 60 hectares.
Mr. Manbu Kawahira, Hokugan representative suggested Binh Dinh support fishermen and create favorable conditions for the company to build the cannery as soon as possible.
Shortly after a business trip to Japan of Binh Dinh leader, Hokugan representative went to Binh Dinh to push the construction of plants in Binh Dinh.
