(vasep.com.vn) In 2014, Binh Dinh province plans to attire investments in its 3 new projects on purchasing, processing and exporting ocean tuna products in Quy Nhon city, according to the province's Center for Trading Promotion.
The first project is to set up a center for tuna trading in compliance with international standards. The new center covers an area of 3 hectares, including landing port, cold storage, auction market for tuna exports with the total investment of US$7 million.
With an investment of US$3 million, the second project focuses on logistic services such as boats for purchasing offshore-caught marine fishes, a range of stores, purchasing agents and other inland services in order to facilitate local fishing activities.
The third project is to build up a processing plant for canned tuna of 3 hectares with 15,000 MT per year. It needs total investment of US$5 million.
