Since 2003, the U.S. frozen shrimp imports have experienced no remarkable changes, with imported volume of 240,000-250,000 MT. Shrimp products counted 26/30, 31/40, 41/50 and 51/60 accounted for large market shares because of abundant supplies. Observing Vietnam shrimp imported into the U.S., it is likely to say that Vietnam owns advantages in shrimp of larger size (<15 and 16/20). This is why average price unit of Vietnam shrimp is higher than that of other supplies.
