HaLong Simexco earned US$105 thousand from fish cake
(vasep.com.vn) In January 2013, HaLong Service and Import Export Joint Stock Company (Halong Simexco) shipped only fish cake products to Japan to earn US$104.7 thousand.
It planned to get more US$100 thousand from export of this kind of product in February 2013.
In 2012, Ha Long-based firm totaled US$3.02 million of seafood export, of which 34.6 million of fish cakes, equal to US$2.3 million.
It also exported 58 MT of frozen octopus products to Japan, valued US$652.03 thousand in 2012.
