Gepimex 404 exported 276 MT of surimi to South Korea
(vasep.com.vn) In May 2013, Gepimex 404 Company (Gepimex 404) shipped 468 MT of seafood products abroad earning US$862 thousand. In the first five months of the year, seafood export totaled 2,197 MT with a value of US$3.8 million.
In May 2013, Gepimex sold 11 MT of pangasius fillets to Hong Kong, bringing back US$16 thousand. Those to China reached 44 MT, valued US$105 thousand. The company also traded fish to other markets like Malaysia and Indonesia.
Also in this month, 276 MT of surimi were sent to South Korea for US$408 thousand. Gepimex’s overall export of this kind of products was 1,360 MT and US$1.9 million.
