Fimex VN hit record high in sales
(vasep.com.vn) Sao Ta Foods Joint Stock Company (Fimex VN) processed and sold 900 MT of finished frozen shrimp products to generate US$13.2 million of sales. This was the record high during the company’s 17 years of development.
Shrimp farming provinces were coming into main harvest season in every September. However, prices for raw shrimp increased steadily as foreign traders were purchasing a great volume of fresh raw shrimp from local farmers. Many companies got business losses due to lack of raw material for processing to complete supply contracts.
Fimex VN expected to exceed its target on shrimp production and sales this year.
