In brackish, saltwater shrimp farming districts, shrimp is stocked once or twice a year. The farming area in the localities accounted for 70 percent. In freshwater shrimp farming districts, shrimp is stocked once a year. The farming area in the localities accounted for 20 - 30 percent.
